98 camry silenoid b code?

trans started shifting weird , code translates to sil b.
disconnect wiring from trans for test , shifts perfect manually, anyone know if this is the problem or another wild goose chase code. already reset computer shift ok for alittle while then back to abnormal .ecm? silenoid? any experience appreciated!

When you disconnect the wiring to the transmission I believe it goes into a limp home mode.

First things to ask: what is the condition and level of the ATF? When was the last time the pan was dropped and cleaned? And the strainer replaced?

It's possible that the solenoid isn't working because of the normal debris in the system. Toyota's Aisin transmissions are among the dirtiest transmissions out there.
