Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
ok, so... i have a 1994 Camry Wagon 1mz that is in desperate need of some TLC. lol i have $4k into the ehgine/tranny/CV's/tire/brakes/timing belt/etc...etc...
soon in the not so distant future... i will be getting alot of bodywork done along with a paint job. i have hail damage out the ass...ANYWAYS... what color should i paint it? its green now(well kinda) so should i just redo the classic camry green? or white or black? i know it would cost more, but just want some opinions on the color.
**see sig for pic**
Thanks

I say redo the classic Camry green. Make it dark green and put black depo headlights. So it would have an overall dark theme. Dark green will also match with a carbon fiber hood.

You can try Black, although I'm biased with the color because of where I am living. Black body color + gold mesh wheels with polished lips = VIP!

There's alot of hot colors out there but I favor the dark green metalic! Plus and the biggest plus, is doing a complete color change is a serious P I T A!!!!!!!
Not to mention, if you don't do it right, the new color flies off months down the road exposing the old color and that looks f'g tacky as hell! Example is someone uses silcone to lube the door hinges or locks and the painter wips it down smearing that silicone all over then splatters the new color on. That silcone will release the paint and the paint comes right off!
Do you intend to gut the intire car to do a color swap? If not, than stick with stock color plus the VIN will match which I would think to make it hold its value better.
As you can see I may be partial to the color. . .
