Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Just hoping for some advice as to what I should do, I'd like to drop him and try and put disc brakes on the back. but also looking for little things like stainless steel radiator hoses etc.
lower and sway bar first- you'll fall in love with yr car all over again! guaranteed!
what brand of sway bar? and are u talking about front and rear sway bars? if u are i looked at whiteline rsb theres 24mm and 20mm and idk which to get? nor do i even know how to put those on.
also i was thinking about the trd lowering springs
I dont want to burst your bubble but the discs on the back really wont make much of an impact on a 4cyl. The braking is done 70% by the front and only about 30% by the back. And well the 4cyl isnt the most powerful engine around.
I have a 4cyl and threw on some nice ceramic pads and regular rotors on the front and can stop on a dime now.
i was thinking of getting a injen is2020p. anybody had them before? i know people have mentioned making my own but i would like to be able to plug and play and have the injen have all the holes for the sensors etc
our engines breathe fairly well.. - intakes do very little or if any gains at all, its more for sound.. replacing the rear sway bar with TRD or Whiteline is ideal- i have the 24mm.. when i re-lowered my car, i did it all at once. And man.. you'll be able to feel the difference. NO JOKE.
dude if your gonna get an intake just buy a cheapo depo mandrel bent sri there all the same except for the filters..... buy aluminum piping to extend it down into the wheel well and voila youll probably spend around 70-80 compared to if you bought just a injen sri for like 200 or watever ridiculous price they sell for
Suspension. 24mm Whiteline rear sway bar. The TRD RSB is discontinued. In order to upgrade to rear disc brakes youre going to need at least 15" wheels. Yours are 14". Skip the radiator hoses... pointless IMO.

No. Just makes it louder and MAYBE increases throttle response a bit.
