NEED A/C box for my gen 3 camry (the thing that makes the air go to face, defrost, etc)

ok so, first of all, MODS...please do not move. i kno this post should be in the items wanted. but everytime i post there, no responses. and i need this ASAP. so thanks in advance.

soo.... i need the A/C box for my 1994 camry. im talkin bout the thing that controls where the air goes to. (face, feet, defrost etc...) it has like a little door on it...or a few. im not exactly sure what the actual name of the part is...but im sure if you have it, you know what im talkin about. and since the dash needs to be removed to access it... i would like another dashboard. (tan/brown) for a 1994-1996. no cracks, fading etc..thanks everyone.
PM me for a price with pics if you have either.

Why not check a local salvage yard? You'll get that piece cheaper there, and you'll get some practice in removing, and replacing it. You may even find a good dash too.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again...salvage yard FTW!!!

of course. i actually found a dash ...perfect cond. at my local pull-a-part a while ago...BUT i had no ide where to get started. i was worried i would break sumthing and not be able to use the dash.and and then, about a month ago, i found a brand new dash for a "96" camry which would fit my 94. it turns out that it was a 93 not a 96(no airbag cut-out). i paid something like $200 . now i am stuck with it, and trying to sell it . ...so if some one knows of a thread on how to remove a dash on a gen 3...link plz

That's why I said salvage yard. You can teach yourself how to remove the dash there, and if you break something...no big deal, it's not your car.

i would love to teach myself. there is just so many nuts and bolts etc. and its not the fact that i dont wanna break it cuz its not my car. idk... i just dont wanna get half way through it , which could be a long time for me being a first timer, and break something major. kno wat i mean? i guess that is really the only thing to do tho considering that even if i did buy one from some one...i still have to install it. hmm... pull-a-part this wknd

If it's eBay you can still return if they send you the wrong part. Just file a dispute with PayPal. You know how eBay is...you have to contact the seller before you bid or buy.

Well, as the OP said, "it's been about a month", so I doubt anything can be done now. There is always a time limit for returns or disputes.

Yeah, paypal's time limit is 45 day, but what about the seller's time limit? For instance, if the seller gave a 7 day time limit on returns, then there's nothing paypal can do. It's the buyer's responsibility to contact the seller, within the seller's time limit, about returns on wrong/defective items.

It does suck, but that's how it is. I speak from experience. I didn't contact the seller in time, and well, there went my money. It only took one time for me to learn my lesson.
