timing belt

My 2000 Camry LE has thrown the timing belt, does anyone know how to find the top dead center once the belt has broken?

There are a couple of threads on timing belt change listed in the pinned DIY thread at the top of the forum, but here's a link to make it easy. At least one of them has discussion on finding TDC for the crankshaft and the cam shaft and aligning each prior to installing belt.

to fisherman partner

27000 miles and fortunately there was no damage. We went with a belt from Toyota this time and I surely hope we will get a lot more mileage out of this one. Thanks for asking.
