Turbo the Camry! \^________^/

So basically as it says im turboing my camry. i4


My Buddy is selling me his 350z turbo kit, for 400 dollars not even used or anything. Brand new

Turbo
Intercooler
Pipeing

It amazing steal lol

Now im gonna head to my local Muffler place n get a downpipe welded after i get the mesurements.

For 400 dollars i can not resiste this deal.
I will just have to find a 3gste Manifold.

Anyways Anyone think of anything i need now to?
turbo Timer?
Electronics
Guages?

Im hopeing to have this thing turboed for 1000 dollars

400 for all the stuff
about 200 for my downpipe
100 to manifold
then etc.

anyways ill take pictures here soon of the turbo n everything.

You should obviously read the FAQ.
Turbo for $1000?? Don't expect your car to last long.
FYI, gauges are NOT required and a turbo timer is necessary but not required

good luck....

u'll need injectors, FPR, wastegate, BOV, fuel pump, a good piggy back computer, FMIC,

ur stock exhaust would have to go as well.

i don't see it happening under $1k

Lol at first i was like that too. budget was 1k, but end up spending over 1500. Even then, it wasnt running right. I'll list some of the things you forgot. and then decide if you still want to go that route.

SAFC
Injectors
Fuel Pump 255 lph
Custom 2.5inch Exhaust
Boost Gauge, this way you know you are not having Boost leak.
BOV, if you dont have one.
Vacume Hose
Oil return/feed Line
Tune, Usually cost 125-150 per hour.

Good luck with the turbo.

Got the wastegate it comes with the turbo. Bov does also most stuff needed for turbo will come with it.

I dont even stock exhuast i have a custom 3" exhuast from header custom made. Paid about 500 for that thing awhile ago.
Then i have a 5 zigen muf on it.

Injectors i can get easily. Some supra ones. From like a 7m will work right?
Fuel pump huh hmm ill look into that one
Oil im working on it now by putting a bung on it.
n yeh tunw thats not included im just talking parts.

But still 400 dollars for turbo wastegate
All the pipes. I bov intercooler with pipes.

So yeh im pretty much get this done when i get paid hopefuly. Even the person who sold me this turbo stuff is gonna help me put on so yep lol.

SAFC is one of the most common piggyback computer there is...it goes for $300ish+install but it's most likely not adequate for a turbo build.

a good piggyback computer will cost you around $500 and another $300 for installation
that's $800 bucks right there....

If you don't even know what a SAFC is I wouldn't recommend doing this. It really sounds like you don't know what you're getting into.
