when yr amp shuts off, it doesn't mean yr running out of battery- it just means that yr pushing the amplifiers to overheat.. with those size of subs and power rating, you're better off with a 1500w mono-block class D amplifier, bridge wire the subs to bring the ohm rating down to .5/0 ohm. Do the big 3 upgrade too if yr serious about yr car audio.

best of luck.

btw..

It doesnt mean your alternator is going bad, it means its not powerful enough. That 70 or 80 amp stock alternator is basically strong enough to produce enough power for the accessories in your car...it simply cant put out enough for the car and an 1100 watt amp too so its trying to run off the battery. You can replace batteries but all its going to do is drain them. What you need is a higher output alternator, one that can supply the car and the amp and still charge the battery. Id suggest at least a 130-150 amp cuz trying to run it off too small of a power supply will just waste batteries and eventually trash your amp. Hope this helps....

your camry running more electronics and support items so your car it self has a higher demand (ie you have 65w(9006) low beams your bro has 55w(H3) so your losing 20 more watts there ~1.75 amps)

1100w = ~92AMPS so if your blowing 100 amp fuses something not right is the amp the only thing on that line?

so
a.you can take your alternator to a local rebuilder they can normally cram in larger guts taking it to around 100amp cheaper than buying a custom alternator setup

b. optima and a batter charger

c. nickle and dime every watt you can (led bulbs is a great way to drop current draw and look nicer and hid retro would give back 5 amps)

d. big 3 like previously mentioned

also i'm guessing rms would be around 825watts? 68.75 amp at max leaving 1.25 amp at redline when playing music too loud

no idea on the price but if you have good helpful people at your local part store and their not busy the free battery and alternator test will give you that information
