Headlights left on?

I've been wondering, does the Camry have a sensor that turns off headlights? I previously left my lights on for about 4 hrs at work but my car still started up when I realized my mistake.

Gen 3's do turn off the lights when you open the door, but if your car is already turned off and then you turn on the lights, opening the door will do nothing.

I do have a gen3 but my door switch doesn't stick (that's the light inside the car right?)
