Wink Head unit install, few questions

Whats up guys,

There's already an aftermarket head-unit in my car, but i want to swap it out so i can hook up my ipod directly seeing i have my other head-unit just sitting around.

On all my other installs and uninstalls, i just stick the uninstall tools on either side of the head unit and pull out and the head unit comes out.

With this one i try to stick it on either side and it doesn't seem to want to go in... Am i doing this wrong? Or is there a special trick to this car?

Anyone have a pdf? or install/uninstall log?

By the Way: LETS GO CELTICS!!!! LETS GOOOO!!!!!

theres 4 screws, 2 on either side of the headunit and pocket. Remove them and the headunit and pocket will come out together then just unscrew the top 2 screws holding the HU in

There's a bracket on both sides of the HU, and pocket. These mount the HU firmly into the dash. They also prevent the HU from being easily stolen with removal "keys". Remove the trim from around the HU, and pocket. Then you can access the 4 screws that attach the brackets to the dash. From there, remove the HU/pocket assembly, and remove the brackets from the HU. Installation of another HU would be the reverse.

Well I swapped head units today, after that now I turn on the car and it displays the graphics for a good 30 seconds (no sound) then it all of a sudden displays "ADJUST" across the screen...

Anyone had this problem before?

My headunit it the Panasonic CQ-C7103U

You should probably read the instruction manual...

Tell me about it!! Clarity is MUCH better.

You can probably get a PDF version of the manual on crutchfield.com or the manufacturer's website.
