1992 Camry 4-cylinder rattles (with video)

The sound started a couple of weeks ago. Doesn't seem to have gotten any worse. I read other posts mentioning that it might be a timing belt issue. My wife describes the sound as a clinking or chirping noise at lower rpms. It's there on cold & hot starts. Vid was taken after about 5 minutes of driving. Any insight on what it might be is appreciated.

Unknown timing belt change. We bought the car at 80K, now at 150K. No formal tune up done since purchase, but we replaced the air filter at about 110K, regularly check fluids & service battery. Overall, we've had the car for 70K miles and haven't replaced the timing belt.

Thanks for the welcome & the advice!

should do a full service

timing belt
water pump
front main seal
cam seal
plugs, wires, rotor, cap
pcv valve

also check the condition of your hoses after 18 years they tend not to be so fresh

Ditto as above. I think these I4's needed belt replacement (recommended) at 60K. Water pump is normally done also along with timing belt. Oil changed on the recommended intervals also? My 2SE made some noise like that, much more pronouce though like a piston slap. Do you know what kind of oil you've been using?

yeah, i would do all above mentioned (not sure about front main, necessary?), but definitely car needs t-belt/wp+seals job and minor tune up (add a fuel filter to that too). what MPG are you getting ?

what are the idling rpm by the way ? somehow it sounded a little high to me at idle. possible vacuum leaks maybe ?

also when OP had camera under the car it sounded like exhaust was leaking, have you looked at the flex pipe ? they tend to break with age and even more when engine mounts are worn out.
