It may slow it down now, but when its done evaporating it will leak even worse! Find the real leak. Mirrors, lights, take it to the shop. . . Find the source and fix it.

dont do it... 73sport is right (as usual!)..
Here's my story for engine leaks:
I had a terrible distributor leak. Pulled out the distributor and its leaking from inside (not the regular distributor o-ring). My only chance was rebuilding the distributor. I was running 5W30 that time to clean up some suspected sludge. Running 5W30 for 3K miles was good enough to tell me just how many god damned leaks were present in my 5SFE...I would never do that again. Anyways before I rebuilt my distributor I decided to try High Mileage oil thats supposed to be thicker.
And man within first 200 miles of Pennzoil High mileage 10W-30 the distributor leak has slowed down considerably :-)
I am hoping within next 1000 miles it will completely stop the distributor leak or make it real slow. Bottom line:
Please dont add any magic potion to any of your cars fluids (Engine Oil,Transmission Oil,Power Steering Oil, Anti-Freeze) except washer fluid ...ha ha.. :-D

Take it to someone who knows what they are doing. It's my understanding that many of the "oil leak preventatives" cause seals to swell in order to stop leaks. That may work for the short term, but the seals will either give or harden and then you have a bigger problem on your hands.

there is a few option a shop may try to pinpoint the leak, e.g. UV oil additive, smoke test, cleaning engine a bit to see when fresh leak appears, etc. etc.
do not add any bullshit Stop Leak into engine, over time you will regret it as most likely the leaky gasket will be wasted completely by the next oil change.

Well, since I´ve been running with 20w-50 given the weather here in Costa Rica I have to suppose that my leaking is worst than it looks in this moment.
Thank you guys for all of your words and good advise.
No additives for the engine at all.

^ Holy moly, you use 20W-30!?!?! I thought that was for diesel engines only Yeah, stop leak additives will only mask the issue temporarly and some may potentially cause long term sludge build up. Spend that money on a nice set of diagnostic tools instead, they last much longer
