would doing the big 3 helps with the dimming lights because this is getting me on my nerves on the car and my grounds are well connected to the struts like geek squad told me it was the best place
Most amps are over rated so you might not really be near 1,000 watts of true output. I'm running a true 800 watt infinity to 2 10's and my lights only dim if I have the volume near max and I'm at idle. When the rpm's are up while driving I can push the amp all I want and not get loss. I'm running either 2 or 4 gauge, I forget which, for both the power and ground wires. My battery is fairly new, but it's not a deep cycle or higher capacity battery. Make sure your gain isn't set way too high on the amp, and if the battery is older, I'd just replace that. Don't both with a cap. They are expensive and don't really do much, you're better off getting a stronger battery.
yeah i have a new battery with it a yellow duralast n yeah even at idle or driving it does the same thing and ive been had the capacitor for long dosent seem to help much but it kinda does... well imma try the big 3 soon hopefully this helps if not i might need another alternator
is when u change the positive from the alternator with a bigger cable to the battery and the negative cable bigger from motor to the battery and the battery to the chassis or where the nuts from the struts is at ive seen this on youtube on how they do it
dont forget you need an inline fuse from the alternator to the battery, i put my ground one from the battery to under the air box (or it would be) if you have the box in you dont see it makes it look cleaner or if it is out then looks more like it needs to be there

^ and leaving it that way!
ah yeah i forgot about the fuse ... ah not as thick as atleast a 4ge cable tho they look thick on the batterry terminal but is not thick on the alternator and the ground cable is pretty small and yeah i hope it works because i just found out that, that is making my amp over heat and wat is doing is shuting it off multiple times
well was going to do it today but is raining i hope i could do this tomorrow
