Ok I just noticed that every time I turn on my hazard lights, they blink in normal operation, then after a few blinks they stay on. Does anybody know what is happening?

I've not ever heard of this problem!

Are all the bulbs in working order? Anyway you can borrow another panel to test the switch?

And Lastly, probably the problem is there is an actuator/blinking relay in the fuse box in the engine bay which might be damaged. I forget if the emergency blinkers is the same as the turn blinkers, so do it do the same when you use the turn signals?

The turn signal did it occasionally today but not as frequent as the caution lights

In the morning or tonight if you have light, take the panel covers from both the box in the engine bay and at the driver's left knee. See where either light relays are and pull them out (one at a time) if the neither function stops working, I'm sure the fix is to replace that particular part.

Also might be some wires being dislodged and or damaged, check them also.

sounds like relay is getting stuck. try knocking on it to see if the blinking lights return to normal.

well if tapping/knocking on it helps it work right then it's bad.

there are electrical tests you can do on relay, that would require applying battery voltage to certain terminals and checking for continuity on other terminals. details vary from relay to relay. sometimes they have a diagram imprinted on them, so you know which ones are for reference voltage and others would be signaling terminals, etc. etc.

not sure if Haynes or FSM cover those relays, but some electrical diagrams should have it.

have you checked www.camrystuff.com (Factory Service Manuals) ?

I removed the kick panel cover and start knocking on the relay, it works now. I've only been using the Haynes Manual

then you have the answer. relay needs to be replaced with new one. old one is getting stuck.
