Installed a SRI today on my 3vz-fe!

So today i installed a ram air on my camry wagon. I knew going into it that it would just decrease mpgs n such but i just wanted to make this thing sound mean. Im tired of my friends laughing at it and making fun of it calling it a "grandma whip."

The install took most of the day. I had to take of the drivers side panel and driver side bumper to get out the resonator and induction pipe. All went pretty smooth until i tried to fit the adapter onto the AFM. i had to drill my own holes which was no big deal. Then after that i had to trim about an inch off the intake hose.

Im really pleased with how it came out. It sounds so freakin mean. I cant get over it. I smash everywhere now. This thing breaks necks!
The only thing i need to do is make a bracket to hold it up. It rests on the wheel well. Right now its just held up with a zip tie right now. lol

She has around 116,500 miles and runs like a champ!

nice wagon and very clean engine

the worst part of the intake is the rubber pipe also. try to make a shield to block the heat. use a piece of cardboard to make a template then coat it in fiberglass.

Nice mods. Throw a meet in Modesto, i'll show them my grandma WHIP! Lol Just make sure they dont break there neck turning there head sideways. Lol

where did you get the adapter from and do you have a link to the air filter? looks like a spectre one from advanceauto or autozone
