96 I4: Empty spot in engine bay between wiper fluid & coolant overflow

does anyone know what this is? see pic below with circled area. this isn't my car, just a random 5SFE engine. on my car, there are 2 holes for bolts in this area. thanks.

if you look under your wheel well , i think theirs a "flap" that screws on via those two bolts. Someone correct me if im wrong

that for the abs system yours doesn't have it, to be sure when you turn the ignition on (before the car fires up) you will not have a yellow light says ABS. no big deal

I'm pretty sure if you don't have ABS installed, the ABS light will not light up.

ohh ok. I had no idea it was for the ABS. I don't have that, I just really realized it was an empty space with 2 holes and I was like hmm well it can't be that important because my car is still running! thanks guys. slowly but surely I'm becoming an 5SFE expert! lol

Also that spot is for the washer fluid reservoir on a gen 3. When they went gen 3.5 they started tucking the reservoir under the fender.
