Custom airbox and exhaust mods

I was wondering if any body has any specs or pics of custom air boxes. Im planning on building my own outta 16 or 18 gauge steel, what ever ive got laying around. i have a custom 3''SRI and routed 3 extra air tubes for fresh air all in the name of better mileage and fun to drive. As well as this my front pipe is starting to leak so a first year apprentice and exhaust tech i thought i could build my own possible 2 1/2 off the flange into the converter or test pipe and eliminate the resonator has any one done this or something similar. In just in the brainstorming stage currently.

biggest upgrades you can perform for the 5s is deleting the cat. you can do all the custom work you want but short of a full exhaust ya wont be gaining much. however since you can likely do it for training purposes then i say why the hell not. just dont expenct much from the exhaust.

as for the intake, id jsut use the stock airbox as a general guide for building a custom one. however, ya may find it easier to simply use the stock airbox and run the SRI into it then run your tubing for colder air.

i plan on doing a full system with no straight thru muffler. babys gotta still be able to ride in it. but i think i may do a 2 1/4 front the front pipe back deleting the cat or gutting one. As for the airbox ive ran 4 extra sections of tubing one from the stock intake tube below from the LS fog light hole, two from below the rad beside the battery and the last along side the stock intake tube on the other side of the headlight. Ill post pics of what has been done so far.
Anyone who has done anything similar pics would be great!
Keep moddin!
