Canada 92 camry v6 rr wheel vibration

Hi everyone, i need some help with regard to a rear wheel vibration.

It started recently and this is what I have done so far.

I removed the right rear wheel.
I can only turn the disc freely counterclockwise. If i go the other way it locks.
Removed the disc and the hub moves freely in both directions.
The parking brake is worn down and moves slightly to both sides

I am really at a loss as to why the disc locks up.

I appreciate any help

Thanks

check your parking brake tension also with the car up check for excessive "shake" in the wheel it could be your wheel bearing, tie rod, or your rim threw a counter weight

I have a similar issue with my 93 V6. In my case my parkingbrake sticks (doesn't fully disengage) which rubs on the inside of the RR rotor causing vibrationsand sometimes a slight grinding.

I just stopped using my e-brake since I've noticed the problem until the e-brake shoes come in, hopefully this weekend. I'm going to change the shoes then hopefully an adjustment will fix it (the adjustment is that thing you access via a hole on the RR rotor that looks like a large Phillips head screw).

Not sure if this is your problem (it could be a few things) but maybe it'll give you some ideas to check for. Our gen3's are getting pretty old now, odd problems like this will probably become more prevalent.
