Hit a bump hard on driver side...driver side specker goes out...

So like....WTF lol. I was driving along playing some tunes thats when I hit this pot hole or whateva it was and my driver side speaker just went out.... Talk about killing the mood...

I knocked the speaker some to see if it would come back to life but no luck. It play but so low...I have to put my ear to it to hear it playing while the rest of the speakers are fine.

Whats the deal here? fixable or should I just get another OEM speaker and call it a day? I'm very anal with the car and this may be simple to some people but I cant stand when something is not working on the car.

Pull the door panel. Take a multimeter and check the 2 wires that are connected to the speaker for voltage. Also be sure they're securely soldered to the contacts. If your getting voltage and the wires are soldered on fine then you have a blown speaker and it needs to be replaced. If you're not getting voltage it's something before the speaker. But we can diagnose that after you test it.
