3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
look for whole p/s pump, sometimes they are sold with a pulley (by people or junk yards). Just ask seller to make sure.
As to vehicles.... I bet, gens 3 and 4, and probably even beginning of 5 have the same pulleys. Go to http://www.toyotapartszone.com/genui...mry-parts.html and check if part number is the same for 1992-2002 years. You may also check Solara, Sienna, Avalon, Lexus ES300 (the last 4 ones in the case if you have 1MZ; I don't know if there is a difference in p/s pulleys between 5s and 1mz).

OK I think everyone mis-interpreted my post. I wasn't really specific. Haha. I got an unorthodox crank pulley. From a 5SFE mr2. And that has 3 ribs for BOTH belts (Alt belt and PS belt) but my camry has 4 ribs for the ALT and 2 ribs for PS. So what I want to do is swap an MR2 or other three ribbed pulley onto my PS and even alt and ac if I can find them.
But I really just need the PS pulley with three ribs.
Anyone know of one?
I'm assuming the MR2 would have on since this crank pulley came off the MR2. But would it fit?
Your solution is obviously to run 3 belts. Okay not really.
Wouldn't it just be easier to put on a "normal" harmonic balancer? If I had to guess, I bet the PS pulley would bolt on from an MR2, but only one way to find out right?
keep the ps the same and use the 2 rib belt and the 3 for everything else
Would the belts not jump around? Having a 2 ribbed belt on a 3 ribbed pulley? and a 3 ribbed belt on a 4 ribbed pulley?

Of course it would be easier, but that's no fun. I'll have to visit a junkyard soon and see what I can find.
