be very careful take off the valve cover and check for sludge ask and see if he replaced the timing belt, and if you do get it i highly sugest getting a volt meter and a oil pressure guage that way you can save the engine before any damage can be done. the oil pressure light comes on below 5psi by then you need a new engine you pressure should be no lower than 17to20psi at idle. but go for it just do what i said and you'll not have a single problem. uh is it 4cyl or 6? 3rd row seat?

Sludge was a problem with later 5SFE cars (that would be the four cylinder, and not the V6 jamesmetairie is looking at. If the car has been well cared for, with regualr oil changes, I think you're good to go.

As far as I know it uses a timing belt.

Now you mention it's a 94, there were two V-6's used that year- the 3VZ-FE, which was an evolution of the 2VZ found in earlier Camrys (dates back to '88ish) and from about '94 1/2 on the 1MZ-FE (V6 ppl am I right about the codes). Which one is it, can you find out?

A low-mile '94 that's one-owner sounds like a screamin' deal (80k is nothing on these). Good luck

Steve

Check CV Joints. I've replaced mine at about 70k, and I've heard many others have as well.
