Shifter Handle

I own a 1997 camry with automatic tranny, and I was wondering how exactly to replace that ugly shifter handle it comes with? It is specifically a push buttonn shifter, so is there any way i can make a no button shifter work with it? And if so how about the overdrive button? I dont want to relocate the O/D button b/c im just not that experienced, and dont have the right tools. Also any good suggestions for a new shifter thing? Im really searching for any info, but its hard to find any on such a specific problem. Anyway thanks everyone, and I and my car, really appreciate it.

Thanks, but i have searched for any info on it, but it is just way to specific a question to get any solid instructions. And I really need to know how to exactly install a new shifter, and if wiring a new O/D button will require souldering or whatever. And among other things, if I HAVE to have the new shifter be push button as well if the old one is, or if I can use a new shifter with out the button.

Use the search feature bro....you will find a lot of answers and websites on this.....Only downfall is they are upwards of 90 bucks.....good luck
