part identify

92 Camry LE, V6, 3VE. I've pulled the valve covers off and everything on top of the engine. The timing cover and all the belts. I cannot figure out where it goes and don't want to get to ahead of myself before I know where it goes. It must have come off on the passenger side of the engine somewhere around the cam pulleys or lower down maybe by the power steering pump or something. Everything basically came off from that side with the exception of a few things around the distributor. Can anyone identify it for me and tell me where it goes. thanks.

and the winner is.......it an extension of the left upper motor mount. Attaches to the motor mount, the altenator and the long cylinder part to the block. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Amazing coincidence

Background
I just joined up this evening in order to ask for identification of the exact same part!
Before I submitted my intended question, I noticed this message string near the top of the most recent postings!
[I was just about to go take a photo of the part.]

Yes, the part you identified in the diagram is the part in the photos above.

My driveway mechanic is in final stages of re-assembly after replacing the cylinder head gaskets on my 3VZ-FE engine in my 1992 Camry LE V6 - and he doesn't recall removing the part (six weeks ago now). [His ex-assistant may have been the one that removed the part.]

Questions
I too would like to know where I could get diagrams such as the one you posted. Did you ask for a phone number so you could tell that? I could send a phone number too.

Thank you
