Get Michelin Primacy MXV from Costco. Those are good for over ~60K miles (650 rating). Some earlier Energy MXV ones are ~400 rated. Those are good for about 40K miles. And they delivered.
No Bridgestones for me. Many of them last 20-25K miles. Do the math these budget tires can actually come out more expensive than the top Michelins.
I may sound like a broken record, but only Michelin runs on the world's fastest production cars (>250MPH Bugatti Veyron) and they came up with an aviation tire solution after the Concord accident in Paris that every other company is now using.
Why would anyone want anything less than a Michelin??
"Almost a year since the supersonic Concorde's first-ever crash, the Michelin Group said 113 lives might have been spared had the delta-winged jet been outfitted with the kind of technology in new radial tires the company has developed. "

I have stock 15 inch OEM alloys wheels (for the XLE). I've had them for around 20k miles (highway and city) and non-aggressive driving. This is my 3rd year (maybe 4th) on my car!
