3rd Generation JL 500/5 Slash amp. Good idea?

So I've got a set of JL C2 650x for the front and a set of C2 690tx for the rear. I'm be installing them in the next little while, but I'm hoping to find an amplifier for them first because of course amplified speakers are always better!

I've been mostly looking used hoping to hit that 300 dollar range and have been looking for a four channel and then eventually moving towards a monoblock for a subwoofer later. But then I'm on Kijiji today and I see this!

JL 500/5 SLASH AMP

Now 500's to much but I feel like I can get him down quite a bit on that price. But a quick search also turns up: NEW ONE so I'm thinking I'd rather have the new one for less with a warranty...

So anyway I go to the JL website and find out that it's discontinued but the manual one the website says that the deck puts out 100 rms to the fronts, 25 rms to the rears and 250 rms to the sub. I'm good with decks but new to amplifying speakers so I have a few questions.

My fronts are rated as handling between 15-100 watts, but say continuous power handling is 60... either this means that my speaker can just handle this or it'll blow it out of my doors I'm not sure.

My rears are rated for 15-125 watts with a continuous of 70. Now if the amp is only putting out 25 to the rears I'm pretty sure this'll be fine... but doesn't 25 seem really really low?

I don't own a sub at this point but that'll be in the near future and I can buy one to suit the amp.

What appeals to me about this is that it's one amp and thus the install can be nice and clean, less cables to run, all those kinds of things. But i'm just not sure if this is a good idea given the speakers that I have. Am I barking completely up the wrong tree by looking at this amplifier? Let me know what your thoughts are, and whether it would be better to find something like the JL 300/4v2
Thanks ya'll!

Taht should be just fime for you. Most OE decks only put out 10-15 watts anyway. I doubt that those two channels really only put out 25w anyway, but if you wanted to you could bridge the four channels together for more wattage. You'd loos control of front to back but you'd have more output. Either way, it's a nice amp.
