whats the use of the 3 protrusions on our headlight?

there part of the mold for the light, i started sanding them down a lil by lil

if you sand them down alllll the way, you will have a hole in that spot. from the inside of the lens casing, there is a depression where the outside has the protrusion... therefore, when you sand it down all the way you will have a hole. trust me. ive done it.

Those protrusions are for headlight adjusting.

if you sand them down completely, as Zoni says, there will be holes in your headlights...


and you can get condensation in there, and you'll have foggy headlights, or worse, yellowed...

so thats it? alignment? they couldve done that without those

irritating how my rags always catches onto it when i wash my car. good thing i found out about it here was thinking of sanding them off
