3rd Generation Code 62: solenoid 1 malfunction

has anybody swapped out a solenoid from the A140E transmission?

Dropped the pan today and didnt see anything unusual, but i only seen one solenoid with a black connector (no.2?).

Can anybody help me or describe to me how much work would it take to get into the valves and to that solenoid for replacement?

Did some shopping, and found out that the 1st solenoid looks like this:

help is greatly appreciated. im also looking for anybody that has a working solenoid and is willing to ship it to me for a good price.

That's probably the #3 solenoid you looked at. If I'm correct the #1 and #2 solenoids are a pair. To get to them, all you need to do after dropping the pan is to remove the connecting lines to them and remove the solenoid. Does not sound to hard to do.

yeah..problem is i cant visually SEE the "pair" your talking about.
i see black wire connected to a solenoid
and another connector with a white and something else wire but no solenoid.

i even tried taking out the "3rd" solenoid..did not come out after taking out the bolts (10,8 mm)

Do you have access to the service manual? In it there should be a diagram of where it is at. Look for a rubber (?) line/hoses. You may be able to see their connection to the solenoid

My bad. I checked on a website, and the #1 and #2 solenoids are seperate, but in the same area. I think you're close on finding them.
