It would probably be better if you didn't do a complete fill up on your gas tank. The Seafood would probably be a lot more effective when its concentrated and not diluted heavily with all the fuel. Otherwise your friends directions are good and definitely don't drive for longer than 100 miles without a complete oil change. I've dome it twice and running it through your break booster will have profound effects on.your car especially if its a higher mileage engine that's in.it.

cant remember who said it first... but i remember reading here that if the seafoam is left in the crank case for a longer period of time (maybe 500mile ot more) the seafoam burns up or something...

definitely put it in your brake booster line (let it suck the seafoam in slowly). If you do it too fast, your engine will stall. I do 1/3 bottle in there. This takes a little longer but that's how you're supposed to do it. Reattach the brake booster line and cut the engine off for 5 minutes, turn the engine back on and rev it lightly til smoke starts coming out. Drive your car around the block a few times to get the rest of the smoke out.

As for putting it in the crankcase (oil), I don't do that because of my high miles. I don't want the seals to start leaking due to a break-up of old oil in the seals. If you do it, I wouldn't keep it in there too long.

I usually put the rest of the 2/3 in the gas tank.
