So I'm looking to tint my back 3 windows on my 97 xle as well as smoke the taillights.
I got this one quote recently and it was 190+tax for the tinting of the back 3 (also looking toward getting 5% or limo tint) and it was 90+tax to smoke my back taillights.... sounds a bit high to me -_- so i was wondering if i could get some opinions from you guys on what a good price to look for as wall as tinting %, also could I ( a nub) smoke my taillights myself??
Thanks,
~Kyle

^ +1, 190 for 3 windows is too much. Unless they are using 3M film or something. I was quoted 4 windows, a sunroof, all with insurance (remove and re-apply if I get a ticket) with lifetime warranty against peeling, bubbling, discoloration, fading, workman defect, etc... for 240$ a month ago!! That should give you an idea I can't remember the brand of film, but it wasn't some uber brand or anything

It all depends on where you go and what city that you are in. I got my tint done for 180, but another place in town charges 240 for the same deal w/o a warranty!
As far as the tail lights go at my old work we would charge 100 bucks to do both tail lights. But we didn't use a spray we used a film by xpel. I'd say a better use of the 100 bucks would be to go to the junkers, find a second set of tail lights, and try to tint them yourself, at least that's my plan!
all of you are being charged to much!! i have 94 camry WAGON (7 WINDOWS!!) i got 35% on the front 4 and 5% on the back 3(not that the % makes a diff in price) i got it all done WITH LIFETIME WARRANTY for $160. my cousin had his done by the same guy 4 years ago, still not a single problem. so...thats just my input. good luck.

I could have gotten 4 windows and no insurance for 170$. Thos guys are the cheapest and best in town.
You have to bear in mind what I got, all 4 windows, the rear glass, the sunroof and insurance. 240$ is not a bad deal if you ask me (most local places charge at least 200$ for just the 4 windows and back glass)
A word of warning for those of you who cheap out in warmer climates: film quality makes a difference, unless you want to have your car in every year for re-application, it may be worth paying an extra 20-30$ for better film. I could have gotten el-cheapo 5 windows film for 150$, but I talked to 3 customers who advised me against this place...
Notorious Tintz is actually where most local tuners, imports or domestics, get their tints done, so I've talked to enough clients to back up their work
Swagger, 160$ for 7 windows isn't bad!!
