3rd Generation Oil to use in a overhauled engine

Hi. i have a 92 camry LE 5SFE engine with 120.000 miles on it. Engine was totally repaired at 110.000 miles. since then i've been using 20w50 oil. can i begin using 10w30? what do you guys recommend for optimum performance and mpg gain?
I live in Ecuador, nights and mornings are like 23° and afternoons like 36°.

30w isn't heavy enough for 36*c, I'd stay with the 20/50 in those temps.

On a rebuilt engine, i'd use 10-30 or even 5-30 for a few thousand miles. But since the engine already has 10,000 miles since the rebuild, i'd say you can use whatever oil you want now - it's broken in already.
