1999 V6 stmble, dies then runs good

I have a 1999 Camry LE V6 that is acting up intermittently, I start the car in the morning and drive without any problem (Except this morning) After the car has been sitting, I drive for lunch and when I take it back, it starts then very shortly after it stumbles and dies. I wait 2-3 minutes and the symptom is gone. There is no codes stored. Same thing happens in the evening once a while. It happens 4-5 times a week and happened this morning too. The fuel filter is new and the fuel pressure is good.Any suggestions? it is very annoying.

What are your idles speeds during all of the conditions mentioned? Is it only at idle when it dies? How many miles on the car?

I think I'd start with fuel injector cleaners and perhaps better quality gas. But expect this to escalate to Idle Air Control (IAC), Throttle Body (T/B), and Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) cleaning.

Please do a search for these under V6, IAC, T/B, TB, & MAF. From this you can see which symptoms fit your condition best if not all of them.

Good Luck,
