3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I just got this a couple days ago, it's a 1997 Camry LE, it only has about 80k on it, runs great. The lady who owned it had all the records of everything that was done to car. I'll put up more pix once I get plates & I can take it out on a photo shoot.
$3,500...it had like 80k miles on it. Yea, I did, it was pretty clean, I just sprayed some Simple Green on it & hosed it off. I forgot about the inside, & I didn't even clean it then. By the time I finished, my dad had come home, so I just finished it the garage & then my mom came & had dinner ready & then we had guests over. I'l take pix of the inside tomorrow once I get off from work.
Yup, I pulled all the LED's from the '91 Camry & I used what I would use in here & put in an order for the rest. I just need to order HID's for it. Once that's done, it'll be enough, my mom & dad'll be driving it a lot, but I'll still get to use it every now & then

Yea, I realized that too, I just picked up some fluids @ work yesterday, So I guess I'll put before I put it on the road (which all depends on when my dad goes to the DMV). But thanks for the heads-up.
Isn't the reservoir supposed to be normally low cold?
I think the LOW mark means add more until HIGH on shut off (cold) engine. i've seen most of toyota coolant reservoirs at HIGH mark at cold engine and slightly over high mark when engine running (higher temperature extends the fluids).

That's weird. My gen 3's coolant goes probably a little under middle of the reservoir when cold but full when its hot/running engine
who cares, tank is big enough to accommodate much more coolant anyways hehe. in case there is too much really it will spit it out through the vent tube or through under cap (it's not a tight seal)...
