3rd Generation Window motor help! please? lol

so tonight i go to roll up my windows after driving and no go from my drivers side. have a strong feeling that the motor is dead because i took the panel off and attempted to roll up again and no sounds no binding no heat. soo what do i do now? Since the whole piece is pretty much connected to the window is there any way to release the window from the arms while its fully down so i can atleast get it back up until i can get the new parts?

chris

did you try to "jump" the window motor
should be able to connect 12v to the connector of the motor for it to go up/down. (switch +/- wires for up/down operation)
if no go then try ebay for there window regulators. i have 2 and still going strong

not the correct way but once the door panel is off use a 10mm to un-bolt the window from the window regulator and i got vise grips to "clamp" onto the window guide (if thats whats its called) with the window all the way up...
get a second hand to hold up the window while you install the vise grips to hold the window up temporarily

i would also take a look at the master power switch for the windows and clean the contacts.

its just the driver front window?

well see i cant unbolt it because the window is all the way down which means the bolts are hidden behind the sheetmetal at the bottom. I think imma just take it to my shop tomarrow and have them get the window off and lose so i can buy the new parts.
