this is for a 92 camry v6 le 3vzfe motor. The oil filter bracket is leaking oil. the service manual shows there is an o-ring sealing it to the block but i cannot find this part anywhere. Does anyone know the part number for this. If oil filter bracket does not ring a bell, others call it an oil filter adapter, oil filter mount, or oil filter housing. I just need to find the o-ring to fix the leak... thanks!

nice... from what it looks like you removed yours without having to take off the downpipe? I will be ordering that oring shortly...
as for the mileage, it has 160K on it but i dunno when it started leaking oil. Just did a major engine rebuild on it so im pretty pissed about a dam oring leaking oil lol
I noticed there's a 2nd smaller O-ring on the inside. I didn't see a part number fer that...yer gonna have to find something of the same size from the O-ring pile at auto parts store. Let us know what you come up with.
Also, make sure you clean the engine dirt off really well. You don't want to be trapping any micro sized particles between the new O-ring and the engine block!

I did mine a while back. If I recall correctly, I had to undo the front downpipe and shove it towards the front a little bit to get enough clearance to get access to the nut and to slip the adaptor off over the stud. When ya do that, I'd recommend replacing the exhaust gasket in that joint; it's cheap, like 4 bucks.
