DIY Top End Cleaner/Seafoam (cost under $3)
The best top end combustion cleaners are marketed and sold by dealers under names such as GM Top End, Toyota Combustion Cleaner, Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner, and Yamaha Combustion Chamber Cleaner - all of which retail around $10.
Seafoam is mostly naptha oil (a solvent) and rubbing alcohol.
The active ingredient in factory products is a 2-butoxy ethanol, the rest is VOCs/petroleum distillates and solvents.
For about $3 one can make your own.
1 part generic carburetor cleaner or throttle body cleaner
1 part simple green (contains 2-butoxy/butyl cellulose)
optional:1/2 part rubbing alcohol or methanol (can use windshield washer fluid, dye is inactive)
mix in metal container.
Disconnect intake hose and piping leading to throttle body (do not use brake booster) - this allows all cylinders to receive cleaner
re-connect intake hose losely with a small hose inserted to intake, dip end in container.
run engine and it will be sucked in by heat pump vacuum action of engine
So for about $3 you have a cleaner that is better than Seafoam, and does as good a job as expensive factory versions - and you are $7 ahead.
