Seized Motor? (1992 I4 LE Sedan @ 225K)

Ok, here's my story:

I noticed the other day that my car was low on oil (but since I was on a time constraint AND the car was on a hill) I didn't put any oil in it. I'm a fanatic about keeping plenty of clean oil in my car, but I figured since it was on a hill my reading was off and I'd check it later when I had more time.

One more day past because I had forgotten, and I drove about 75 miles on the interstate at about 90 mph solid, parked the car at the girlfriend's place for the evening, and then tried to start it the next morning...

Now, the car will act as if it is trying to start and isn't getting a spark... I can see the engine jostling around while I'm cranking it and it sounds like it's about to start up, but then I hear what seems to be a failed combustion cycle and then my check engine light comes on.

I put more oil in it (but it's on a hill again), and it doesn't seem to have helped any.

Any thoughts? I don't think it's a seized motor because of the movement, but then again it was low on oil and I've never experienced a seized motor. I sound like a bad owner right now, but I normally take great care of the car!

Thanks in advance

On a side note, I will check whether it's getting a spark when I have access to the car later today

Well, if it cranks then it is not seized, I think.
