Fidanza Flywheel - help

Hey guys, I was just wondering, which is the compatible fidanza flywheel for the 3vz/e153? I went on the website, and there were flywheels for the 2.2, 2.0, and a 3.3 motor

If anyone could help me out, that'd be legit!

Depends on which clutch you are using...

By the way, I'm selling a FW new in box...

I'm not sure if your 3VZ crank will accept a 5SFE FW, but I do know either 3s or 5S FW and clutch will work on the e153 transmission.

Right now, OEM. But I want to get a Exedy stage 2 for when I get my turbo build together, unless you can suggest something that might be better?

You may want to wait for a 3MZ person to chime on on this.
The information based on the 2.0, 2.2, and 3.0 is really subjective to which clutch you use. I would say the applications information is very misleading. i.e. you can't use a 5S FW on a 3S clutch.

Now if the 5S FW (which I'm selling lol ) will bolt up to the 3VZ crank, you can get the FW and a 5S clutch with the e153 splines for those axles.
Honestly, I don't see you boosting all that much so you shouldn't have to get the 3S clutch. If you do, you'll have to slightly machine the FW.

Flywheels for the 3VZ, 1MZ, 3MZ are shared. Remember, the flywheel is the engine side component, not the transaxle side component. The flywheel MUST match the engine, as should the pressure plate.

The clutch disc needs to match the transaxle you're using. Clutch companies can make clutches with custom splines.

I think that's the one I'd go for... but for the ~350hp that I want to be putting out, I think a stage 2 should be enough.

And Jason, Thanks, that helps!

For now I'll say I've misunderstood this but I think we need some details here! You shaved down the flywheel???????

Or you had someone machine material off? Either way, did you have rebalanced when this was done. Please fill in the blanks!

Is your engine smooth at RPM?

take it from me the stage 3 takes a little getting used to, it is like there is no friction point with it at that point....a 2 makes it a lit easier.....a fair word of advice, think about an LSD if you're going to have it apart anyways

I think that is interesting. But I want to see its quality. Can you post some photos of it? I really wanted to see the fidanza flywheel.
