black metal under cover (below rad), need bolts

how do you call (per OEM catalog) this black metal under cover which bolts to frame (below radiator) ?

i need to order new bolts for that, as of right now it's hanging on only 2-3 bolts, the rest is missing or broken off (thanks to salty roads in Winter). i don't want to loose it while driving, this part is heavy ...

do you think the part i marked green in picture above is same to the one marked with orange rectangle below (diagram) ?

it seems that is called the "Engine Rear Side Shutter Plate 51439-33010" and there is 7 bolts in it. I'm not sure if bolts have part number 90119-06665 or 90080-11175 as it looks confusing on the diagram ... anybody knows this ?

i think those parts are exactly same in camry as they are in my solara. only difference is (i think) camry has lots more plastic shielding under chassis (mine doesn't).

thanks in advance.

LOL!

just checked both parts in toyotapartsoutlet.com OEM catalog and both of them I mentioned (as in diagram) are same thing!!! hahaha ... simply old one 90119-06665 is superseded with new one 90080-11175 - descriptions says this is a "bolt with washer" and is used widely on some suspension parts, splash shields, etc.

OK, so this one solved. now the question would be, the torque for them, anybody knows ? hand tight ?

In my 2000 Camry they call it the "Center Engine Under Cover" and it's held on by M6-1.0 x 20mm bolts. I recently replaced them all and had to add some fender washers to the where the plastic parts had worn through. I'm not sure what the part numbers are. I just got them at a local hardware store. I think they were called body bolts or something like that. Black oxide with a captive washer, and a pointy threaded end.

EDIT...found the part numbers, I thought they were all the same, guess not. One is 90119-12305 (2 bolts) and the other one is 90080-11175 (5 bolts) I'm pretty sure that I used the same for all of them. Maybe the different part numbers have a different washer ??

are you 100% sure those bolts (90080-11175) are M6-1.0 x 20mm ?

Yep, 100% sure they are M6-1.0 x 20mm. Just took one of them out and ran it through a die just to double check.

But not 100% sure that the part number is 90080-11175 since I got them at a hardware store.

Why not take one of yours out and go to a local hardware store and match them up. Find a nut that yours will screw into, note whatever size it is, and go find a matching bolt.

I can't imagine your Solara will be different from a Camry but ya never know.

thanks man. i will take your word (too lazy to go to local shop unless I have to).

will try using one of those bolts after tapping what I've drilled so far (close match for a M6x1 tap). if i break the tap I will not blame you though hehehe

i think chassis/suspension should be pretty much same (with minor differences in plastic splash shields), but i would assume those bolts are same. since you were able to screw your M6x1 into original thread then it's good enough.

if that OEM bolt doesn't the new thread, I will simply pick up same bolt (plus nut) as you did and case closed (per my other thread where fighting with grille support bracket).
