Examples of setting up CAI - Need advise

got a SRI already planning to convert to CAI today, need help or advise were to run the tube from cone to ?, i want to angle the tube downward and slightly curved to prevent water from being sucked in. However i would like to plan the setup before installing. so if anyone has setup a CAI up, what is the best way to run this tube

There's a resonator box in the driver side fender like right under the fuse box you need to take the resonator out and extend the pipe down into the wheel well area. I think i did exactly what your trying to do i have one pipe that extends the sri down into the wheel well far enough so i could put a coupler and clamp on another curved pipe to it making it go down far enough so the filter could go on.

best solution to get the best of both worlds is to use your stock air box as a plenum if you can. cut a hole in it so you can set the filter in there then run tubing into the fender to take in cold air. this way you get cooler air, the advantages of a cone filter and dont have the loss of high end power due to friction....OF course none of this really makes any differance on our NA engines so you could stick with your SRI and be just fine.
