water leaking into car from driver side

i haven't been here for a while since i got an ep3 civic. my mom is driving the camry now. but anyways, there is water leaking into the driver side. when i open the door i could see on the side of the vent (to the left of hood latch handle) streaks of water but i can't tell where the water is coming from. i'll take some pictures today and post them. do you guys have any idea where the leak is?

Check the weather stripping on the door, if it is in good shape, then check that the door is aligned with the car body, and closes properly. If it is coming is by the driver's kick panel, I would think the lower half of the windshield is leaking, & if that is the case, it should be attended to immediately, as many electrical componants rest in the dash. If thats the case, remove the lower windshield trim, and reseal it or get the windshield professionally resealed (this is a good possibility if the windshield is aftermarket). Of course only if the windshield is the cause. Check all weather stripping though.

thanks for the reply. i'm putting my bet on the lower windshield trim. i also tried to see what was up with the window regulator today and the weather stripping was fine.

No Problem.

Yeah, my friend has an 2001 Camry with an aftermarket windshield, and it leaked on the drivers side by the kick panel, he got it resealed and it has been good since.
