3rd Generation Gen 3 5-speed V6 Parts

Figure I'd make a DETAILED list of all the parts needed, and optional, for a swap. This is not everything. But will be updating it.

E-brake swap parts

Center Console (Handle type from a Gen 3 I4 or V6 SE):

Handle and Cable with both nuts and lower plastic piece (not in picture) (Handle type from a Gen 3 I4 or V6 SE):

Hydrolic Parts

Master Cyl (Gen 3) (Still on pedal in picture):

Lines with Slave Cyl and Valve (Gen 3):

Pedals/Shifting

Brake Pedal and Clutch Pedal (with sensor) (Gen 3 5-speed):

Mounts/Axle's

Axle's (Gen 4 V6 (E153) 5-speed Axles):

Gen 3 I4 (S54) or V6 (E53) shifter base and V6 (E53) Shifter Cables:

Gen 4 V6 5-speed rear mount (new snap ring and screw optional but recommended):

Side Tranny mount with Plate (Gen 3 E53 or Gen 4 E153):

Tranny Parts (No, not THAT type!)

E153 Tranny:

Clutch:

Flywheel:

Fork, Boot, and Pivit screw:

Throwout Bearing, Flywheel Bolts, and Clutch Bolts (E153):

OPTIONAL

Shifter Base and Cable Brass Bushings:

Gen 3 I4 (S54) tranny mounted clutch line. From what I can tell, it will delete the valve (causes a delay and crap pedal feel) with very little bending (New line in pic):

It;s not just a simple swap for that. You can;t use the 3VZ cluster or the 5S cluster as the Tach is different. You can likely combine them to make one perfect working one though.

what i've meant to say is just to mod your existing cluster with the manual one (assuming the manual one is a gen3)

This stuff is all for another member on here doing a build. Thats why I don;t have pics of the tranny or clutch as he got them. I have one axle for him but still need to get the other. I;ve been doing hardcore research to get every nut and bolt needed.

Gen 3 XLE and ES300 axles work for the driver side you need the stub axle from one that DOES have abs, it's longer dont ask, i have no idea on the rear jack shaft i used a gen 4

one more good optional is the extended throw push rod for the slave cylinder

never seen the S53 in anything other then the 5th gen celica (90-93) or swaps. dont forget the s53 and the s54 were close ratio boxs. the s51 was the long ratio box better for the camry for fuel economy.

I'm pretty sure Adam knows, and all of this posting is worthless.

Shit, too many GD tranny numbers. All should use the same parts (minus internals). I was 1/2 asleep when I wrote it.
