Gen4 Horn Connector

Good day all,

I have searched the forums and could not find the answer to my problem.

Today I was checking under the hood and the connector to the horn just behind the grill is loose. The wire got loose from the plastic connector and now I do not know how to connect it back in.

The connector seems fine but I need to insert the electrical wire back in. How can I do that?

I can take a few pictures and post them here if that would help.

Solder. I'd just run to a junk yard, cut off a good connector, and replace the broken one.

Actually the connector is not broken at all. It looks fine.

There is small yellow clip on the outside of this connector. I took it out but still cannot figure out how to insert the wire in there.

Can I just take out the horn and try to connect the wire directly without the plastic connector as you mentioned?

I'm saying if the connect is damaged in anyway, you might as well replace it. Or just say screw it and hard wire it to the car and cut the connect out. New wire, solder everything up, heat shrink, done. If it's a matter of "how do i plug this in"... it's like anything. It's only going to snap together one way. Take a good look at things and try again.
