now its the brakes

I have a 93 camry le with about 220,000 miles on it. I just replaced the tranny fluid and the brakes. the pads on the passenger side had probably 5% left while the drivers side had about 75% left . the rotors were replaced last time i did the brakes and also the caliper on the passenger side. I also had the uneven wear last time i changed them. could this be air in the lines? or do I need a new caliper on the drivers side?

You probably need to rebuild the caliper. The hardware could be sticking. Buying a new one will fix it but at a higher cost. Yer choice...

When doing brakes...it's preferable to do both calipers to eliminate things like this...

In addition to inspecting that passenger side caliper for a stuck piston, inspect the caliper slide pins. They may be seized making that caliper apply contant brake pressure on that rotor. Hope for seized/stuck slide pins. They are cheaper to replace than the caliper itself.

well the passenger side caliper is only a year or so old. i think im going to replace the pins on the drivers side lube them up and re bleed the brakes.

Now I'm really confused. It seems the problem is with the passenger side. Check the pins on the passenger side.
