4th Generation 1999 Camry 2.2 Gen4 Auto LE upgrades?

Well taking the plunge. Was hard to pass up 1999 Toyota Camry 2.2 auto O/D 4 wheel abs otherwise standard LE package, cassette radio.
Anyway only 40,000 miles owned by a nice little old lady and garaged.

So what can be done to this little monster to pep it up a little?

New to this platform.

Looking for suggestions on some minor upgrades that will provide good return to this little traveller.

Engine wise there isnt much. Intake/exhaust are more for sound and have no real gains.

I would start with suspension first.

um you can custom make a cai

errrrrrr put a pentatonic resistor inline with the ect sensor ......

custom turbo?

swap in the ge heads ecu sensors and that whole mess

swap for a manual

search? camrys are family cars there not a lot of off the shelf products for power, upgrade the suspension, light weight rims are quick good starters, and there no chipping of the ecu

Suggestion on suspension upgrades ... .. .

I was kinda thinking the same thing - suspension.

Is there anything air filter or something that will help this little puppie under the hood?

There's nothing that you can do intake or exhaust wise for the 5s-fe that will increase power. Intakse just makes it sound louder and a high flow exhaust just eliminates back pressure which kills your low end torque.

Suspension... SEARCH. Start with a whiteline rear sway bar (or a TRD one if you kind find one). Best $150 you can throw at these cars.

Curious if anybody has used the following sway bars.

http://www.andysautosport.com/toyota...ay_bars/addco/
ADDCO 3/4 Inch rear sway bar
and 7/8 Inch front sway bar
The above kits appear more complete than the Whiteline swaybar kits

and the Whiteline is one better than the other?

swaybar heavy duty 24MM BTF38 front
swaybar heavy duty 20MM BTR39 rear

any experiences
