3rd Generation Anybody replace Heater core Hoses as of yet?

I recently looked at my heater core in & out hoses plus the little 90 degree hose, on my 1993 3vzFE! They look to be original! I am thinking it is a good time to replace these! Has anybody done these as of yet? Do you guys have any part #'s for these also?
Thanks!

i was thinking about this the other day. mine are original as well on my 96. i figured i use them until they split. if this happened when i was driving, would pinch the lines/seal them temporarily until i get a chance to replace them. though it would kind of suck to not have heat during the winter until i replaced the lines.

I am a Parts Manager at a Toyota Dealer. I am not yet a sponsored vendor, so I cannot state which one or even conduct business here, but if you give me your VIN# and what you need, I'll be happy to provide you with the part numbers of the hoses. Hopefully when I do become a sponsored vendor(which I am in the process of doing) you will remember me for some of your parts needs.

I am trying to be helpful without violating the forum rules.

Thanks! However I did go to my friendly neighborhood Toyota Parts Dept this morning & ordered all three hoses. The damage came to $106.18!..
They will be in by the end of the week. I told the parts dude that if I don't have to replace them for another 17 years, they will be worth it!...He got a laugh!....

You couldn't be more right. I don't know what it is about the Toyota hoses, but they seem to last forever. They are a bit pricy when you do have to replace them, but like you said, 17 years is a long time without having to replace them. I'm glad your Neighborhood Dealer took care of you.

I have a ride comming up to Niagra Falls in two weeks & another one to Upper Maine this weekend, I just don't want to chance it with the old hoses! The other two hoses being the upper & lower radiator hoses I replaced last Fall.....After I replace the other hoses, I feel as if I could drive to Alaska!!! (LOL)

3rd Generation

This morning I changed out the three heater core hoses which included the little 90 degree hose, I feel better now for the comming road trips I have comming up, since the ones I replaced were the originals of 17 years ago!........The Toyota replacement hoses are quite thick & will probably last another 17 years!
