So i went to tcam01's house and he was retorquing his spark plugs with a torque wrench i did mine and eveyrhing was fine until i got to #3 on the threads of the spark plugs was damp with oil there was some on the top of the plug too. what would cause that? it wasn't dripping with oil, but some was there. the other 3 were fine

Sounds like it either dripped down from the top (would have had to gotten under spark plug wire -- unlikely) or you've got a leaky ring.

I had same thing on mine when i changed spark plugs a year ago. Dont think its a problem as long as there is not a big leak.

Again, I wouldn't sweat it as long as it's not a ton of oil and it's running rough.

Yeah, just a little bit and you'll just be burning oil for a while. Is there plumes of smoke coming out of your exhaust? If not, don't even worry about it.

I talked to Adalex, he said no smoke and nothing dripping on the ground. I think you're just fine man.

Spark plug grommets in the valve cover. We saw this all the time with 5SFEs in MKII MR2s. We would actually have tubes filled with oil, but the spark plugs were not affected on the combustion chamber side. My 5SFE had three tubes affected. I replaced the grommets and the oil seepage stopped.

I believe the nut size is 30mm.
