I'm building a rear-wheel-drive, rear-engine project car where I took the engine/trans (2.2L 4cyl) from a '93 camry. I modified the front spindles of the camry to be used in the rear of my project since they have the splines for the axle shaft. My question is: Where can I find a set of disc brakes that will fit the original bolt location of the camry's front spindles and also accept a mechanical parking brake linkage? If there isn't such an animal, what would be a good starting location for modifying something to make it work?
So far the best idea I've come up with is modifying a rear brake caliper off of an MR2 (which is also rear wheel drive) like the one in this link:
