Question Door part question (56k Warning)

Hello everyone. I'm trying to install this...

And I'm pretty much at a loss at how to get this part off.

On the backside of the door panel there is a removable plastic cover that i took off. This revealed one 10mm bolt.

I took it off but it didn't seem to help loosen the part any. I'm scared to break anything so I figured I'd ask and see if anyone else has removed these parts before. As always thanks for your time. I appreciate it.

Remove the nut, then yank on it. It's glued in I THINK.

hey man, i tried to remove that when i was tinting my windows BUT the problem is the pins behind that.
when you remove it the pins will break down or should be very lucky...

but my pins broke and then i use adhesive to keep it in place.

you can see the black pin (left to the nut) the main problem is that.try to remove it gently.if you can take it out, it is much much better.

Try inserting a flat blade screwdriver and gently prying up here:

as well as using some foaming glass cleaner from a can it stop the butal from resticking to the surface i haven't looked at my cam (just got it for free a month ago) but i know when i did work on a few lexus and toyota doors under the weather strip you have to drill out rivits to remove chrome trim and then rivet them back with these plastic coated rivits
