In my Camry 94 LE, the passenger power door does not open when inserting the key in the driver door and double turning. Also cannot lock or open the passenger pd using the driver door main controls, nor with the passenger door control.
In short, the passenger door is now manual instead of power. I can hear the clicking sounds and see faint movement.

I'd bet the wires are just partially broken and shorting out against other partially broken wires. Just open it up and look.

I have the same problem with my passenger door. I've been meaning to repair it for quite sometime, but I hardly have passengers. I know all of you say its a wire problem, but could the situation be remedied by replacing the door actuator?
im having the same problem with my driver's door. was this ever resolved? did you find that it was just broken wires?
It should be easier to access the wire bundle on the front doors. That's what I would check as well. I just had an incident last week where my rear driver side window was going down but not up. As soon as I exposed the wires in that bundle I saw one was cut

Checking the wires would be the easier solution. Yes, it could be the actuator, but it's much easier to check the continuity in the wires with a Multimeter than replace an actuator

TBH, I don't think its the wires (but haven't gotten to it myself) cause when unlocking/locking, there is faint movement, and there is that click, which leads me to believe its something mechanical as opposed to something electrical. I'm curious. I think I will check it out sometime this week.

This is how it would be set up in the door:
Actuator -> steel bar -> rotating "cuff" -> steel bar -> flimsy plastic connection -> red thingy that tells you if door is locked/unlocked
I would check that flimsly plastic piece. It might be broken. If you say you hear the actuator click, I think it's fine.
