2001 camry radio problems..

I searched a didnt find anything specific to this. Found some things close but nothing exact. My gf has an 01 camry and her radio does not work. CD is fine but when you turn it to the radio, nothing. It's silent. Not really sure what would cause this. I would assume get a new headunit but the cd's still work perfect. Anyone run into this problem? Thanks for any help.

remove the radio assembly and check the connection behind that(specially antenna)

also check the antenna connection inside the trunk.

Post up a pic of the head unit. I'm gonna to venture to say if it's the all in one unit...the radio section might be hosed. You should be able to git a nice Scion head unit to fit in there...

How do I replace the 2000 camry car radio so that I can install XM/SIRIUS Radio with i-pod connection and hands free phone using the car speakers.

I am having a very similar problem with my 2000 Camry and I am able to get AM stations but the FM stations are all silent. I have checked the connections and have checked the whole antenna wire and its all together. So I am thoroughly stumped, any ideas or just a new head unit?
