*****Updated with pics of prices and part numbers that they gave me*****
Ok so I went to the dealership to have the entire car looked at and this is what I got
the oil pan and tranny pan are just the gaskets, are taken care of thanks to tcam01 and RedPhoenix, i bought the sealant, the tranny gasket, tranny fluid and oil and k&n oil filter.
anyways I've always wanted to lower my car but couldn't justify spending 700$ to my mom on new struts and springs when my stuff worked fine. well according to the service tech he said the rears are shot and the fronts have barely any left. so I'm looking at struts and springs because as u can see the oem ones aren't cheap each of the struts are almost 200$ so i'd rather spend 400$ on a set and 200$ on springs and save myself 1000$ :P
I'm looking at these for struts: http://www.racinglab.com/toy9701camto.html
any advice would be greatly appreciated. im going to buying them one at a time because i can't afford them all at once. basically what I want is a modest drop but with the ride of oem more or less its ok if their a little stiff but i called trdparts4u and they have 1 so i'll prolly buy that first and then the struts. also where should i get the strut tops?
Tokico's FTW! Don't change your mind there. TRD springs are good too. I like the more agressive drop of H&R springs.... but that's just me.

well based on the part listings that they gave me is that all I need and are all the other stuff re useable? and if so could u help me with kyb p/ns? the descriptions of the stuff are too confusing to know what i need
Hmmm, according to Amazon the parts you selected are not for a 1999 Camry, unless I'm doing something wrong? Edit- according to Amazon the back ones are correct but not the front.
BTW, from what I've read the KYB strut mounts are not very good, lots of complaints about those, so keep that in mind. Personally I would get the mounts (Toyota calls them insulators) online from one of the discount Toyota dealers.
DONT GET KYB STRUT MOUNTS! PEOPLE HAVE SAID THEY FELT CHEAP, poor quality. When I changed struts, I reused my old ones. Inspect them, clean them, re-grease the bearings and they are good to go. I am already at 174.5k on my original strut mounts.
well unfortunatly i already ordered the strut mounts from amazon and i just checked and I can't cancel the order, if i get them and don't like them i suppose i can return them and get something else?
No one here has reported any problems with the KYB parts to my knowledge.

Tokicos are better for his application. He wants something more aggressively valved. Plus the fact that tokico has a lifetime replacement warranty.
